I'd like to think I'm a darn good teacher with a name like "Miss Bueno!" You'll find me on the floor playing a board game, taking a walk with a child to blow off steam, and even coaching a new gamer on how to battle the bad guy. I love to talk about my pet guinea pigs, books I've read, and the latest game I'm playing on my Switch. I hope to help my students feel safe, loved, and challenged as we tackle everything from learning to read to bringing up a test score to designing an experiment! I love to learn and play at school, and I hope you will join me!
Experience
I have taught in Texas public schools for 8 years and in a private home for 2 years. I am certified to teach Early Childhood-4th grade in two states and have a career focus in teaching young children to read. I have had the privilege of sending off nearly 200 students to the next steps in their educational careers, because it is through them that I continue to learn and grow as an educator.
