My name is Karolline, and I’m 27 years old. I studied at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. concentrating in international affairs. I pursued a path in immigration law working as a paralegal, but due to maternity leave I have decided to take some time off. Right out of college I started teaching, mainly substitute both short term and long term replacements. I absolutely loved being a teacher, and the time I spent as one was one of the most rewarding opportunities I was able to experience. To be honest I miss my time in the classroom, and I’m looking to get back into teaching in any way possible. I worked in many ESL classrooms and with students from pre-k through 8th grade. For high school students, my focus is tutoring in English/writing and history. I speak Spanish and Portuguese fluent, basic French. My schedule is incredibly flexible and full of availability. LEARNING IS FUN and my focus would be to make this tutor time as efficient and effective as possible. My rates are totally negotiable and I have some deals I can make to provide a fair and affordable price. I taught as a substitute teacher for all grades for a year out of college when I still lived in Somerville, MA. It was such a privilege experiencing that opportunity, and during this period of maternity leave I am hoping to be involved again in teaching.
