Hi there! I’m so excited to potentially be a part of your learning journey! When I’m not teaching, you’ll often find me immersed in the arts whether that’s exploring a new museum exhibit, sketching, or diving into a great book. I’m also a big fan of writing, and I love using stories to inspire creativity and imagination in my students. In my downtime, I enjoy spending time outdoors, trying out new recipes, or working out. I’m a firm believer in finding joy in the little things, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with the families I work with. Whether it’s learning about elevators with a curious kiddo or creating a lesson around their favorite animal, I’m all about making each day meaningful and fun!
Experience
I have over a decade of experience helping children of all ages and abilities reach their full potential. My journey as an educator has taken me from classrooms to one-on-one tutoring, to working with families as an educational manager and consultant. I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education from Columbia University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in English and Art History, which have given me a strong foundation in designing creative and personalized learning experiences. I’ve worked with students across a wide range of needs, from supporting those with ADHD and autism to accelerating learning for gifted kids. My superpower is making lessons exciting and tailored to each child’s interests—whether that’s using their love of art to teach math concepts or crafting science lessons around their favorite topics. I also bring a deep understanding of homeschooling, having supported families in designing customized curricula, creating engaging lesson plana, and fostering a love of learning at home. My blend of academic expertise, patience, and genuine enthusiasm for teaching makes me a strong partner for any family looking for a supportive and inspiring tutor.
